Christmas Day
Christmas Day is the birthday of Jesus Christ, the founder of Christianity. Christmas is a Universally celebrated festival. It is celebrated on 25th December, which is birthday of Jesus Christ. It is equally celebrated by Christians and others. People go churches dressed in new clothes. They have a big Christmas tree in their houses with decorations like streamers, stars, dolls hanging from branches. We put the decorations on the Christmas tree. People go for shopping for presents. The shops are very busy. Gifts are brought for friends and family, who normally gather together for a grand dinner. In Church, Christmas carols are sung and the Father says prayers. Cards are sent to friends all over the world to wish them happiness and good luck. Many people organize Christmas Party. Children hang old stockings outside their windows, for Santa Claus is sure to come and give them lovely gifts. Santa Claus is going to be there with a sack of toys. People and Children in general enjoy Christmas a lot, as they get gift on this day.
